SUDDEN ASPEN DEICLINEIt seems that an epidemic of Bark Beetles isn't enough of a problem for Colorado forests. In many parts of the state Aspen are dying at unprecedented rates as well. The US Forest Service has published a pretty good bulletin that answers many of the questions that landowners have. The results of the 2009 aerial survey will be published in a few months and we'll let you know how things have changed. |
